Benicasim (Benicasim, Basque, Benicassim, Benicàssim) is a municipality in Spain, part of the province of Castellón as part of the Valencian Community (Autonomous Community). The municipality is located in the district (komarka) of Plan-Alta. It occupies an area of 36.1 km². The population is 18,206 people (for 2010). The administrative center of the province is 13 km away.
The small town of Benicasim on the Spanish coast of the Costa del Azahar is part of the autonomous region of Valencia. It used to be a little-known fishing port, but thanks to the active development of tourism in the second half of the last century, the city became a popular tourist destination. It has an excellent infrastructure and offers everything for a pleasant stay: bars, clubs, shopping and entertainment centers, banks and hotels.
The main attraction of Benicàssim is of course the central beach that stretches for more than 6 kilometers. There you can not only enjoy the sand and swim in the cleanest sea, but also rest well and eat in one of the bars, cafes or restaurants that are abundant along the entire beach.

Pleases Benicasim and amazing nature - the Palm Desert Reserve is located around the Carmelite Convent on Monte Bartolo, which offers excellent views over the city. This area is covered with dense green, which makes it pleasant to walk on hot summer days.
